Erik Rigler is an aircraft accident, safety & security investigator and instructor.
Rigler flew as a Naval Aviator in patrol, carrier-based and training aircraft. He also served as an FBI Special Agent/Pilot, receiving 20 awards for performance in flight during his career. He has instructed university level courses in Aeronautical Sciences.
Rigler has FAR flight experience under Parts 61, 91, 121, 135 & 141. Certifications include: Flight Instructor: Single Engine, Multi-Engine, Instrument, Land & Sea, Glider, Airline Transport Pilot rating & Citation Type rating. He has more than 7,000 flight hours, with more than 2,000 hours as a Certified Flight Instructor. He has been designated a Master Instructor by the National Association of Flight Instructors. He also is a designated FAA Aviation Safety Counselor.
